Catherine, Princess of Wales will attend the State Banquet at Windsor Castle on Tuesday alongside King Charles, Prince William and other members of the Royal Family.
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, is paying a State Visit to the United Kingdom as the guest of the King and Queen from October 20 to 22.
Speaking exclusively to GB News on behalf of CanadaCasino, former royal butler Grant Harrold has predicted that the Princess of Wales will wear a diadem previously donned by Princess Diana.
He said: “Traditionally, Catherine goes for the Queen Mary's Lover's Knot Tiara at events, which was famously used often by the late Princess Diana.
“She has also worn the Lotus Flower Tiara, the Strathmore Rose Tiara, and Queen Victoria's Oriental Circlet Tiara for previous State Visits. If she wears the Queen Mary's Lover's Knot Tiara, it brings Diana into the limelight, and that will be noted.
“Over the years, it has been noted that Catherine usually doesn’t switch up her tiara choices. The late Queen Elizabeth II regularly wore a favourite, which was the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, and Catherine is doing the same with Queen Mary's Lover's Knot Tiara.
“It could be said that Catherine is taking a leaf out of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s book. If she were looking to switch it up for the Oman visit, Catherine might go for something completely different, like the Queen Victoria Muscat Tiara. There is also the Burmese Ruby Tiara, which is another option.
“Queen Camilla will also wear a tiara tomorrow night, and the two ladies will discuss this beforehand. One of them will more than likely wear something that has a connection to Oman, while I can imagine Catherine, out of the two, will stick to tradition and wear something that was worn by Princess Diana.”
