Gianni Infantino's claim that Fifa is the "official happiness provider to humanity" prompted Donald Trump to crack a joke as the pair spoke at a Trump Tower reception on Friday (17 July) ahead of the World Cup final.

After the Fifa president’s declaration, the US president shouted out to the audience, "unless your team loses."
