The sixth time’s the charm for Trevor Noah as host of the Grammy Awards!

The comedian, 41, is set to return to the 68th Grammys for “one final time” as emcee, according to a press release.

Noah, who will also serve as an executive producer, has hosted every Grammys show since 2020. This year’s ceremony will take place in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, Feb. 1.

Kendrick Lamar is the most-nominated artist of the night, with nine nominations, while Lady Gaga, producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff trail with seven apiece. Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and Leon Thomas each scored six, while several artists earned five, including Doechii, SZA, Tyler, the Creator, writer-producer Andrew Watt and Pusha T & Malice of Clipse.

Noah opened up to PEOPLE in 2024 about hosting duties, and said he’s never approached an awards show or a standup show without being nervous.

“I always care what happens. I don’t take anything for granted, and I’m never sure that or how a joke will land,” he said. “You just prepare. You hope for the best. Telling a joke is like jumping out of an airplane with a parachute. You have an idea of where you would like to land, but when you actually get close to the ground, you might be a little bit off from where you intended to be. So I just work my ass off, try and think of the funniest things to say and ways to say them. The rest I leave to God.”

The former host of The Daily Show added that over the years, he’s learned that Grammys nominees are there “to party and to have a good time,” which means he’s always having to navigate a somewhat chaotic room.

“In a weird way, I've come to understand, it's almost like I'm at a huge party, and I'm trying to work while I'm at the party,” he explained. “And then I've also learned to have a good time. It's one of the best concerts in my opinion. I don't think there are many shows that can rival what the Grammys puts on in terms of a collection of artists. Where else are you going to get to watch Dua Lipa, Burna Boy, Billie Eilish, you name it, on the same stage? That's something I don't take for granted and really enjoy.”

The 2026 Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
