Travis Kelce is repeating history on the golf course.
On Friday, Feb. 13, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, accidentally hit a spectator in the head with a golf ball moments after shouting “Fore” on the last hole of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California.
As soon as he realized what had happened, Kelce rushed over to the woman, who has since been identified by local outlet KSBW as Edenne Flinn, to make sure she was okay.
“You alright?” the athlete asked as he approached Flinn in her golf cart, as seen in videos of the moment shared on TikTok. A witness of the incident also wrote over the clip, “POV: Travis Kelce yells “FORE” but you still get hit lol.”

The NFL star signed an autograph for Flinn after making sure she wasn’t injured, per KSBW. He then opted not to finish his hole and ended with a two-day total of 10-under par, which was 10 strokes back from the winning score.
This wasn’t the first time Kelce accidentally struck someone with a golf ball. In July 2024, he hit a fan in the back of the head while golfing alongside his brother, Jason Kelce, and many other celebrity competitors at the 2024 American Century Championship.
"When I got hit, I immediately felt pain," Katie Hauss recounted to PEOPLE shortly after the incident. "I was just trying to focus on not blacking out, and at that point I didn’t really know what had happened. I then heard people start yelling and screaming that it was Travis Kelce’s golf shot, and 'Oh my god, that girl just got hit in the head.' ”
"I tried to stay really calm and told my husband that I thought I was ok, it just hurt really bad," she continued. "Then when I put my hand to my head there was a lot of blood. I knelt down to try and get my bearings and then a Good Samaritan — he must have been a doctor or a first responder of some sort — came over and immediately applied pressure to the wound on my head. He told me stay still and that they were calling for the EMTs. I am just so appreciative to that man for helping me, a complete stranger, and I wish I could thank him for his kindness."

After eyewitnesses saw streaks of blood soaking through Hauss’ blonde hair, paramedics rendered aid to the horseback rider before Kelce made his way down the course to check on her.
"Travis must have walked down as I was still on the ground," she recalled. "I just remember seeing him come up and then I don’t remember exactly what he said, but he asked if I was ok. I could tell that he felt really badly.”
Ultimately, Hauss was sent to the emergency room, where doctors confirmed she had a concussion and needed a few stitches in her head.
“He joked that the least he could do was take a photo with me, so I stood up and joked back that at least the front of me looked ok and wasn’t bleeding if we were going to take a photo,” she continued. “Travis said that he couldn’t bring himself to smile given the circumstances. I honestly felt bad for him, because I know that it was a total accident, and that can’t feel good to do that with a huge crowd looking on."
