Nicole Kidman is making her grand entrance into the world of Margo's Got Money Troubles.
In PEOPLE's exclusive clip from the Wednesday, April 22 episode of the Apple TV series, Margo (Elle Fanning) joins her dad, Jinx (Nick Offerman), at a wrestling convention, where he runs into an old friend and fellow former pro wrestler, Lace (Kidman).
"So these are your people?" Margo asks her dad as they enter the convention center, and he says, "Past tense. These were my people."
His attention is soon shifted as he spots his old friend in the crowd. "Oh my God. Oh my God!" Lace says as she gives Jinx a big hug. He then introduces his daughter, asking Lace, "Do you remember Margo? Do you remember meeting her?"
"Margo! Yeah, you were like 3," Lace says. "Feels like yesterday. Now I feel old."

Jinx tells her she looks "fantastic," before asking what she's been up to in recent years. "Man, I lost all track. I assumed you moved to Melbourne after you and Leather..." he trails off.
"Leather is dead to me," Lace says, referring to an old flame and wrestling partner, to which Jinx replies, "Fair enough."
Kidman, 58, is an executive producer on the series as well as a star, and showrunner David E. Kelley tells PEOPLE that Kidman was "game to be in [the series] where she could" because she loved the book so much.

At the show's New York City premiere, Kidman told PEOPLE that she underwent training before filming began to play a wrestler. "Obviously, it's so hard, and I was so scared about getting injured, but then when I got in the ring, I just went, 'Okay, let's go,'" she said. "'Cause whenever I do something, I go, 'Okay, I've gotta be really careful,' and then I just forget about any sort of protection in my body and I go crazy."
"But Nick had me covered," she said of Offerman, 55. "And we were working with really great trainers and pro wrestlers, so they cover you too."
In fact, the role has inspired some new goals for the actress. "I would love to do more wrestling," she said.

Offerman and Michelle Pfeiffer star as her parents — ex-pro wrestler Jinx and former Hooters waitress Shyanne.
Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington also star.
