Julia Louis-Dreyfus has raised two talented sons.
The 11-time Emmy winner, who celebrates her 65th birthday on Jan. 13, 2026, shares two adult children with her longtime husband, actor Brad Hall: Henry, born in 1992, and Charlie, born in 1997.
Her two boys have followed in Julia and Brad's entertainer footsteps. Charlie, who attended his parents' alma mater Northwestern University, became an actor — and even made a guest appearance in his mom's acclaimed series Veep. Meanwhile, Henry pursued music, releasing his debut album in 2020.
“When you have children, which is in so many ways a glorious endeavor, part of it is about constantly separating," she said of watching her sons grow up to The New Yorker in 2018. "They crawl away from you. They go to school. It’s a constant."
The Seinfeld actress told PEOPLE in her 2023 cover story that she was "grateful" Henry and Charlie were "out in the world and functioning," but it required her to give up "a lot of control."
She explained, "It’s a slow process, but it’s equally joyful when a new dynamic comes into play as they become adults. I love hearing their opinions and watching what they do.”
