Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to be slowly winning over the UK public, according to a PR expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first joint public appearance since their move back to the UK on October 15. The couple stepped out in Nottingham for a series of royal-style engagements and were met by fans who had gathered along the streets.
PR expert Ryan McCormick suggested it was a clever move by Harry and Meghan to return to the public eye and suggested the pictures of fans smiling at the couple "are exactly the kind of positive PR they need."

Speaking exclusively to The Express US, McCormick said, "Harry and Meghan's enthusiastic reception in Nottingham could have been a well planned spectacle.
"The images of people smiling and warmly embracing the former royals are exactly the kind of positive PR they need. Stringing together a series of moments like this will build momentum and I believe will put the public at ease as the duo begins to return to their royal duties."

The PR expert predicted this outing could pave the way for Harry and Meghan to reunite with the Royal Family.
"It seems all but inevitable that they will reunite with Buckingham Palace. They may not have the prestige and influence they once did, but the hand will be reconnected to the arm," he told us.

Harry and Meghan took part in three charitable engagements during their outing in Nottingham. They kicked off their day with a visit to the city's Community Recording Studio (CRS), with the Duke of Sussex meeting musician and poet Jah Digga, who attended CRS as a child.
The Duchess of Sussex, meanwhile, joined young girls for a confidence-building and bracelet-making workshop.
The pair then headed to the food poverty community action group Himmah Hub, where activities included taking part in a cooking class and packing food-parcel donations.
The final destination in Nottingham was Epic Partners, an organization that supports children, young people and families across the St Ann's and Sneinton areas of the city through youth work, sport, mentoring and education.
Body language expert Judi James analyzed footage from the outing and suggested Harry and Meghan seemed "excited" to be back.
"They walked at an excited pace, eyes gleaming, hands clasped and outfits billowing, giving the impression they were being greeted by a large ecstatic crowd rather than the modest but agreeable warmly happy that they performed their greeting and chatting rituals on," she previously told us.
James suggested Harry took center stage for the outing, telling us, "Harry was in full 'like I never went away' mode."
