Oliver Tree's girlfriend is speaking out following his tragic death on Sunday.
Fiona Chernavskaya took to social media on Wednesday to share her grief after Tree, a musician and comedian who skyrocketed to fame after going viral with his 2017 track "When I'm Down," died in a helicopter crash in Brazil over the weekend at the age of 32.
"Thank you for all the kind words. I appreciate every ounce of support at this time. There are so many who have been affected by his passing, please show them love too," Chernavskaya wrote via her Instagram Stories.
She also requested "respect for my privacy," noting that she and Tree tried to keep their relationship "very intimate."
"What I really don't need is to see gossip about other women that Oliver may have been seeing," she added. "We were monogamous. Right now I'm mourning my partner and best friend, anything else is unimportant. Please have some respect."
Chernavskaya's post comes after she shared a carousel of photos of her and Tree alongside a note to her late partner on Instagram on Tuesday.
"To my best friend," the fashion stylist wrote. "We traveled to 43 countries, and all 7 continents together. The magic, inspiration and joy you brought to my life and others, will never be forgotten or replaced. You’d always tell me when we argued, if things don’t work out in this lifetime, you will find me in the next. I love you buggy."

Tree went on to release four albums with Atlantic Records: *Ugly Is Beautiful* (2020), *Cowboy Tears *(2022), *Alone in a Crowd *(2023), and *Love You Madly, Hate You Badly*, which was released this April. He was on a world tour in support of the album at the time of his death.
In April, Tree told Zach Sang on his popular podcast that no one in his family would "get a penny" from his estate. Instead, any inheritance would go to other artists.
"I've set up a foundation. It's called Dr. Oliver Tree's Art Grants for Baby Geniuses," Tree told host Sang. The musician explained that the foundation is set up to collect "the interest generated from my music."
"When I die, my art will continue to have residuals and probably be worth more than it is now. People will finally appreciate my stupid f---ing videos or my stupid f---ing songs. That's when people appreciate you, when you're not there anymore," he said. "I have basically a committee that I've set up when I pass — and I plan to do it while I'm alive — where basically everyone will vote on who the money goes to each year."
