Nicole Kidman looked magical in a completely see-through lace dress from Zimmermann for the “Practical Magic 2” press on August 31. The “Eyes Wide Shut” star has never shied away from a unique fashion moment, and this is certainly one. Her floor-length gown blended lace with a soft, muted color palette.

For her August 31 “Practical Magic 2” press, Nicole Kidman stunned in the Valiant Panelled Gown from Zimmermann’s Fall 2026 collection. The bodice began with a high, round crew neckline framed by a scalloped lace trim. From the neckline, semi-sheer lace paneling contoured down over the bust with curved seams framing contrasting tapestry and paisley motifs underneath.
The fluted sleeves started fitted at the shoulder and upper arm and flared outwards below the elbow. They featured scalloped lace borders, sheer geometric lace overlays, and sweeping printed fabrics. The dress’s fitted waist transitioned into a low-slung, curved dropped-waist seam before falling into the expansive skirt.

Below the waist, the skirt cascaded into a floor-sweeping maxi length using vertical panels and godet inserts. The fabric alternated between sheer floral lace and dense, ornate paisley prints, creating vertical lines that elongated her frame. Further, the frill flare hem finished with a broad scalloped lace trim that lightly grazed the floor.
Styled by Jason Bolden, Kidman completed her look with a luxurious golden Omega watch featuring a dark face. She was also wearing stacked metallic rings. Adir Abergel styled her golden blonde hair in long, undone waves with full, piecey curtain bangs. Meanwhile, her makeup featured subtle smoky eyes and a nude pink lip.
At the “Practical Magic 2” special screening in the UK, the Oscar winner turned heads in a burgundy Rodarte lace-trimmed silk-satin midi dress. The cap sleeves and the neckline featured black lace trims. Further, bow details adorned the crisscross neck. She paired it with Hagelstam Ruby Pumps.
