New AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné confirms she suffered a broken nose during her match at All In: London.
The penultimate match of AEW All In: London 2026 featured Mercedes Moné defeating Willow Nightingale to become the new Women’s World Champion. It was a hard-fought victory, and Moné had to work through an early setback after she suffered a nose injury. The commentators speculated it was a broken nose.
Mercedes Moné confirms she broke her nose
Mercedes Moné was the first guest to join Tony Khan and Renee Paquette in the post-show media scrum. As she addressed finally winning the AEW Women’s World Championship, she confirmed that Willow Nightingale broke her nose during the match. She was also bleeding during the interview, and Paquette had to run to get some Kleenex for the new champion.
“I haven’t even had time to process holding this (the title) because I was just so focused on taking Willow’s smile and ending her career. I finally get to look at this because straight after the match, I had to go to the doctors and get stitches for my nose that she broke,” Mercedes Moné said.

After being asked when the injury happened, Moné said, “Right in the f*****gbeginning, did you not watch? Me and Willow have had it out for each other since the day we met. Today was just all of our emotions, all of our frustrations, all of our history was just right there in the ring, and we gave it our all to each other. She legit beat my a*sall over the ring, but I beat her harder.”
After the PPV, Mercedes Moné is making her DJ debut at the All In afterparty.
