Marshals star Luke Grimes welcomed his first child in 2024 with his wife, Bianca Rodrigues Grimes
Luke’s costars Ash Santos, Tatanka Means and Mo Brings Plenty are also parents
In November 2024, Luke told PEOPLE that his family is where his “real happiness” comes from
Family is a central theme for the stars of Marshals both on-screen and off.
The Yellowstone spinoff, which premiered in March 2026, follows Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) as he trades ranch life for a position on a U.S. Marshals unit in Montana. He is joined by Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means). Yellowstone alum Mo Brings Plenty also has a role in the show as Mo, the trusted right-hand man of Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham).
Kayce is a dad to son Tate in Marshals, and off-screen, Luke and his wife, Bianca Rodrigues Grimes, became first-time parents in 2024.
“I knew one day I wanted to start my own family,” he told PEOPLE one month after announcing his son’s arrival. “And I knew that that was going to be where the real happiness came from. The other stuff was just going to pay the bills.”
Luke’s costars Marshall-Green, Santos, Means and Mo Brings Plenty are also parents.
Here’s everything to know about the real-life kids of the Marshals cast.

Bianca announced the arrival of her and Luke’s first child, a son, on Oct. 9, 2024. “Welcome to the world little man 💙,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and her newborn baby.
The following week, Bianca shared another photo on Instagram, writing, “And then there were 3 🫂.” The couple have kept their son’s name and birthdate private.
In February 2026, Luke told PEOPLE that both Bianca and their baby have since spent plenty of time on the set of Marshals.
“My son thinks my cowboy hat is really funny,” he said. “He doesn’t understand why I have that big thing on my head, but he loves it. He’s very excited when he got to come to stage.”

Santos has a daughter and son who were 2 years and 4 months old, respectively, when she landed the role of Emily Campbell on American Horror Story: Apocalypse, per NewBeauty. She shares her kids with her ex-husband, Connor Rockwood.
In November 2021, she opened up about balancing her work and family life in an interview with The Laterals. “The fact that I’m now pursuing the one thing that scared me the most — an acting career — is still shocking to me. I am now an ex-Mormon, single mom, taping auditions while my kids sleep at night! Life is crazy,” she told the publication.
Santos later compared the Marshals cast to a “family” in a March 2026 interview with Numéro Netherlands. “One thing I’ve learned about working in the Sheridan universe is that you’re essentially joining a family,” she said.

“It’s definitely not easy, but communication is key!” Means said of parenthood in a June 2017 interview with Native Max. “[Christine] helps me maintain balance and enforce family time because it is hard for me to stop working and just relax when I am home.”
TheKillers of the Flower Moonactor is the son of Native American rights activist Russell Means, who died in 2012 at age 72. In the same Native Max interview, Tatanka said that he wants to pass down the traditions and values of his Indigenous culture to his children.

Mo Brings Plenty has one son named Layne Brings Plenty.
Layne was identified as Mo’s child in an obituary in The Lawrence Times for Mo’s nephew, Cole Brings Plenty, who died in April 2024 at age 27.
Though Mo keeps his relationship with his son private, he did share that he and his wife, Sara Ann Haney Brings Plenty, live on a small ranch south of Kansas City, Kan., in a July 2025 interview for TEDxLondon’s Climate Curious podcast.
Mo also spoke about working toward “a better world for the children and generations yet to come” elsewhere in the same interview.
