Former TNA wrestler Max Caster has revealed a surprising decision he has taken in the aftermath of his firing from the promotion. Caster was one of the most hyped up recruits in the promotion heading into Bound for Glory. He made his debut at the PPV event and received a warm reception from the fans.
However, the rap he performed during the appearance contained unapproved lines that made allusions to the recent attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, TNA let him go, releasing an official statement in which the promotion noted, “Making light of violent attacks is wrong. This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize.”
Caster later took to social media to address the issue and admitted that he “went too far.” And now, he has made a major decision about his next move.

Caster recently appeared at an ACW show and reflected on what transpired. “In the span of one day, I started a contract and ended a contract with TNA Wrestling,” he began. “I put out a statement, I addressed it, and apologized to a lot of people, but the one group I didn’t get to apologize to is all the fans. So, guys, I really appreciate the support.”

The ex-AEW star said that people were “disappointed” because he was no longer part of TNA before expressing his thanks to ACW for giving him a platform. He then disclosed his decision to step away from wrestling for “an extended period of time” and get therapy. “I don’t know what my next move is,” he added. “I don’t know where I’ll be, but I will be stepping away from the ring for an extended period of time. So, I’m gonna go home, I’m gonna go to therapy, I’m gonna get it right so that the next time I’m in the ring it feels like I’m at home.”
Caster finished the address with his catchphrase and again indicated he will be out for a “long time.”
