*Live With Kelly and Mark *just got a steamy pick-me-up stronger than a shot of morning espresso.

Shortly after welcoming *Shrinking* star Christa Miller, 61, to the talk show early Tuesday, Mark Consuelos, 54, and Kelly Ripa, 55, fielded an inquiry about their sex life from the actress.

"I have something to say. I watch this show, I'm a fan," Miller said as she took her seat next to the cohosting couple. "And, Mark, I'm going to say this with love. There's no morning sex. No one likes it. And not even on the weekends."

Consuelos appeared to be amused by the quip, which referenced past *Live* discussions — including Ripa's July 2025 admission on the air, in which she said that her husband prefers morning sex despite the fact that she finds it "disgusting" in the moment.

"I've got to tell you, this job has really gotten in the way of that. It's been the antidote for it," Consuelos replied, while Miller added, "We also don't fall for the, 'I just want to cuddle you' in the morning."

Ripa weighed in, telling Miller, "I always say spooning leads to forking," while Consuelos turned to Miller to inquire about her sex life with husband and *Scrubs* creator, 57-year-old Bill Lawrence.

"Are you having the same problem at home?" Consuelos asked. "We're having the same problem," Miller replied. "My window is in the afternoon, it's a short window. And also, Bill has to be home and also not bugging me. There are a lot of steps. A lot of hurdles."

Consuelos called quick afternoon sex "a nooner," just as Miller asked Ripa to make an official statement against morning sex.

"Bill, for the love of God," Ripa said, looking into the camera. "On behalf of all of us here in the studio audience, there is absolutely no morning sex."

Consuelos ended the bit by adding, "I don't know, Bill. Something tells me you should go for it."

In the aforementioned 2025 installment of *Live*, Ripa revealed that Consuelos, whom she married in 1996 after meeting him on the set of *All My Children*, prefers sex in the morning.

"Only in the morning. He hasn't learned. He'll never learn,” Ripa joked at the time, adding, "He's a guy. He's never going to learn."**
