During her March 3 appearance on Today, Lauren revealed the most "impactful" moment from their nuptials

She added that all of her and Jeff's children gave speeches at the wedding

Lauren Sánchez Bezos is opening up about "the biggest moment" from her wedding to Jeff Bezos.

While chatting with Today on Tuesday, March 3, to promote her second children’s book, The Fly Who Flew Under the Sea, and her experience with dyslexia, Lauren, 56, revealed that one of her sons, who also has dyslexia, gave a special speech at her star-studded wedding on June 27, 2025, on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy.

"That was literally the most meaningful and impactful moment at my wedding, besides getting married to Jeff," Lauren said. "Okay, alright, okay, it was the second most [meaningful]."

Lauren has three children. She shares son Nikko, 25, with ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez, and son Evan, 19, and daughter Ella, 18, with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell. Meanwhile, Jeff, 62, shares three sons and one daughter with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott.

Lauren did not specify which of her sons gave the wedding speech, but shared that he recalled a key moment from his childhood and how Lauren helped him in his journey with dyslexia.

"The biggest moment was with my kids. They all got to do speeches. Jeff's kids did speeches, my kids, and one of my kids, who is dyslexic — and he lets me talk about it — went up there and talked about a moment that was extremely important to him, and I had no idea what he was going to say," Lauren told Today.

"He was in the fourth grade and not writing well and he wrote this sentence that says, 'I can do this,' " she recalled. "And it was his first sentence. And that's really late to be writing your first sentence as any parent with a kid with dyslexia knows."

Lauren continued, "I blew it up and I put it in our kitchen, and it says, 'I can do this.' Anyway, he talked about how special that moment was for him."

Lauren added that her husband's four children's speeches were also moving.

"Being able to see our kids talk about what is important to them was really powerful," she said.

More than 200 guests attended Lauren and Jeff's wedding. Among the A-listers spotted were Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher, Tom Brady and many more celebrities.

PEOPLE confirmed that Lauren and Jeff were engaged in May 2023, four years after they went public with their relationship in January 2019.
