Jason and Kylie Kelce feel grateful for the family and traditions they’re able to share with their kids.
Speaking with PEOPLE as she partners with The Honey Baked Ham Company to celebrate the most family-centric and tradition-laden time of the year, Kylie, 34, explains how family connections are at the heart of everything her family of six does during the holiday season.
“It’s the best. We didn’t get together with a whole bunch of family growing up, and obviously neither did Jason. He didn’t have any first cousins, so we were very much like, our holiday tables were a collection of people that we love, whether they were family or chosen family,” Kylie, who is mom to daughters Wyatt, 7, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 18 months, tells PEOPLE.
“It was always a collection of our most loved people, and so getting to share that with our girls, getting to have those moments where we talk about the cinnamon apples on the table because they were my Mimi’s favorite,” she says.

Kylie’s grandmother passed shortly after her and Jason’s oldest daughter, Wyatt, was born in Oct. 2019.
“The only child that met my grandmother was Wyatt, so it’s so exciting to get to have my grandmother live on through the cinnamon baked apples from Honey-Baked Ham. Every so often I say that out loud, I’m like, ‘I sound silly,’ but it really is a connection to her. It makes us talk about her. It makes us reference her, and it’s such a beautiful connection to have,” she shares.

The Not Gonna Lie podcast host adds, “I love that something as simple as a favorite food can keep a piece of someone, and a family tradition, going. Around the holidays, that’s what you’re supposed to do, right? You’re supposed to bring your family together, and I think that accounts for even family members that might not be here anymore.”

For Kylie, the link between family traditions and HoneyBaked products is one she’s known her whole life.
“I have partnered with HoneyBaked before, because it really is a staple in our family. It’s so exciting to get to show our girls that this is part of our tradition of the holidays and get to pass that down to them,” she shares.
“Our girls know that this is something that happens. I mean, all the way down to taking them to pick up the ham now, it’s the best. It’s literally recreating the memories and the traditions that I had with my mom and my grandmother, so it’s really, really special to me,” she continues. “Whether it’s the ham on the table as our centerpiece or the baked apples being their connection to their grandmother, it is such a special opportunity to not only partner with a brand that I know and love, but also get to tell people about the fact that they can make this part of their tradition too.”
