The last time the collective sports world had Ryan Clark at the forefront of their minds, it was because he was being relieved of his duties at ESPN. Plenty of drama followed, including Clark suggesting he was fired rather than laid off.
Well, now Clark is back in the news, and itās safe to say heās landed on his feet quite nicely with his next act.
Netflix Picks Up Ryan Clarkās āThe Pivotā Podcast
Clark may no longer be employed by ESPN, but on Monday, he revealed that āThe Pivotā podcast is heading to Netflix, starting Sept. 8.
This announcement prompted some strong reactions from the NFL world.
One instant reaction called it the ābest Netflix deal Iāve heard ofā and said the move was āwell deservedā for Clark and Co.
Of course, not everyone agreed. The WalterFootball account sarcastically called it a āgreat move by Netflix to pay millions for something 10 people will watch.ā
One suggested that, āBetween Ryan Clark and Elle Duncan, Netflix loves lighting money on fire.ā
Another commenter went as far as to say, āIād rather watch paint dry,ā than tune into Clarkās podcast on Netflix.

While the salary included in the deal wasnāt reported, one would think itās a fairly attractive offer.
Clarkās āThe Pivotā podcast has generated 70.9 thousand followers on X alone.
Now, Clarkās crew will have a whole different type of audience, one thatās boosted by the access that Netflix provides. But of course, that doesnāt mean everyone will suddenly start to tune in.
Still, by the looks of it, Clark will have plenty of supporters, just like he did before and after ESPN.
