A former Playboy Bunny has criticized Holly Madison following her support of a new movie about Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion.

Playmates is a coming-of-age film which will follow a 13-year-old girl who views Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion as her second home. The movie will star Jessica Biel alongside Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Pullman and Indiana Elle.

The announcement of the film sparked controversy, with Hefner's widow, Crystal Hefner, sharing her fears it could "romanticize him or the Playboy world." Holly, however, is supportive of the movie and said she's thrilled to see Lorraine Nicholson release her directorial and writing debut. Precious Muir, who previously worked as a Playboy Bunny, has hit back at Holly's comments.

Precious worked as a Playboy Bunny during her time living in New York in the early 2000s. She worked as a Golf Bunny for Playboy and would attend various high-profile events as part of the role.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, Precious said, "I think Holly's perspective is very selfish. I think that she's only thinking of her personal experience, which was maybe more good than bad, but she doesn't think about the other women and what they went through."

Precious' comments come after Holly, who dated Hugh Hefner, told TMZ she believes in keeping "an open mind" when it comes to other people sharing their experiences. She also praised Lorraine as a "wonderful writer."

Holly isn't the only one who has supported Playmates. Bridget Marquardt, who previously dated Hugh Hefner, supported Jessica Biel's casting in the movie after Crystal Hefner urged the actress to reconsider.

"I don't think Jessica probably even knows who [Crystal] is. She might know now, but I don't think that Jessica should respond," Bridget suggested on The TMZ Podcast.

Precious hit back, "Bridget has now said her piece, which is hilarious because he didn't marry her or Holly, and he did marry Crystal. Bridget was never seen as the brightest back then and is still saying silly things now.

"I've met Crystal a number of times, I think she has her own personal issues but at least she is speaking-up and saying how it really was, not what Playboy wants the public perception to be."

Crystal wrote an Instagram message to Jessica about her role in the film, sharing a screenshot of it on social media. "Please reconsider playing Hugh Hefner’s ‘wife’ if this film is to romanticize him or the Playboy world," she begged.

Crystal alleged, "I was actually his wife, and I experienced sexual, emotional, financial and physical abuse in that relationship." She continued, "I hope everyone involved in this film takes the time to listen to the women who lived it before helping Hollywood turn it back into nostalgia."

Crystal was married to Hefner from 2012 until his death in 2017. She previously opened up about life inside the Playboy Mansion in her 2024 memoir, Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself.

In the book, Crystal alleged Hugh tried to control her appearance, including what she wore and her weight. She also alleged she was under the supervision of mansion staff.

Precious previously told us she also has concerns about the upcoming Playmates movie. She shared, "I would agree with Crystal Hefner and many other women who have been a part of that Playboy era. They need to make sure, in this film, they fully represent and highlight the darkness that took place in that Playboy Mansion as well as the 'fun times'."

Precious claimed Playboy Bunnies were "coerced by the phrases like 'let's make sure the high rollers have a good time' and 'let's make sure this is a fun night girls'." She recalled, "We were always encouraged throughout events to spend quality time with the high rollers. Even some outside event hours."

Speaking about the upcoming Playmates movie, Precious urged, "I think this film really needs to show the real truth about the exploitation and coercive behavior that took place in the Playboy Mansion, how Hugh Hefner really treated the girls around him like toys and things. His charming personality is why 'til this very day, so many didn't really know who he really was."

She continued, "Playboy was a well run program of exploitation for men's needs and desires," before sharing her fears that "the abuse won't be shown in the film."
