Coco Rocha opened up about motherhood in a new interview with PEOPLE at a New York City event
The runway star revealed how parenting helps her heal from work "burnout"
Rocha shares two daughters and a son with husband James Conran
One of Coco Rocha's greatest joys in life is motherhood.
The model and television host, 37, shares three children — daughters Ioni, 11, and Iley, 5, and son Iver, 8 — with husband James Conran and she tells PEOPLE that being a mom to her little ones is one of the most healing roles in life.
"People say they have burnouts, sometimes because of work, sometimes because they're parents and it's full-on. My burnouts are work, and when I have those moments, my favorite thing is to immerse myself in being mom more," Rocha shared at a May 27 event celebrating Longchamp and Jeremy Scott's continuing partnership.

"Most people say, 'Well, wouldn't you want to relax?' I want to be with [my kids] 24/7. I love when we are like filling our days with so many activities. It's definitely for them, but it's also like recreating my childhood with them one more time and it is the most spectacular thing. I love it," she continued, noting that in her eyes every day is Mother's Day.
A particular joy about being a parent for Rocha is that she gets to see her little ones thrive and watch their own personalities take shape. Recently, the Project Runway Canada host had an emotional moment when her eldest — who joined her for the New York City party — booked the role as Mary Poppins in her school play.

"She sang on her own. She got that audition. She got the role. It wasn't because, as people like to say, nepotism. She did it all by herself," says Rocha. "I remember when Ioni got that...it was one of the most warm moments of my life. The performance was great, but the moment where she knew she got it on her own, killer."
In a previous interview with PEOPLE, Rocha revealed all the ways her mini-me is just like her. That's because her tween is already shopping in her closet and stealing her clothes for class. “I love it, but it's also hilarious because — as you can tell — I have long legs, she's not quite there yet, so she drags my pants into school."
The proud mother added, “I love her confidence. I wish I had confidence like that at [her age]. I hope she never loses it. But yes, she's already pulling pieces, and I guess I should be so honored.”
This summer, Rocha plans on working on Project Runway up north in Canada, but family time is also on the mind. She says, "I would love to see myself in England with the kids and climbing some castle walls and just having a good old time."
