In 2014, Parke, who called himself the "Lip King," told British newspaper *The Sun* that his look was "all about the shock factor."

He added, "I love all the attention and stares I get in the street. I welcome the hate — it just means more attention. And if anything, it just spurs me on to get more work done."

Parke didn't have any regrets about the changes he'd made.

"I laugh when people try to insult me by telling me I look plastic or fake," Parke said. "Do they think I'm going for the natural look? If I was, I'd ask for my money back."**

Parke has faced legal trouble himself in 2024, when he was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, but not charged, following the death of a woman who underwent a procedure at a clinic he co-owned.

He appeared on the reality show about plastic surgery gone wrong for consultations on his lip fillers, liposuction, and nose, per PEOPLE.**
