Eva Green was recently rushed to the hospital after getting injured while filming Wednesday.
EW has learned that the French actress is "recovering well" in the aftermath.
Green has joined the cast of the Addams Family spinoff as Aunt Ophelia Frump.
Eva Green's time on Wednesday is off to an eventful start.
Amid reports that the former Bond girl was recently rushed to the hospital, Entertainment Weekly has learned that the actress sustained an injury while filming the Addams Family spinoff and is "recovering well." No further details about the nature of the accident or the injury sustained have been revealed.
Representatives for Green did not immediately respond to EW's request for additional information. Netflix declined to comment beyond confirming there was "a sustained injury."

Per The Sun, the incident took place earlier this month while the series was filming its third season near Dublin and, in the aftermath, production was halted while the shooting schedule was rearranged.
"This was really nasty,” a production source told the outlet. "Eva sustained an injury and was clearly in pain and producers were taking no chances. Medics were called and Eva went to hospital. She underwent treatment and is now recovering well."
Green recently boarded the Netflix series as Ophelia Frump, the sister of Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and aunt of Jenna Ortega's titular psychic teen, Wednesday. Her official casting ended months of fan speculation that Lady Gaga’s brief cameo as Rosalyn Rottwood would lead to the Grammy-winner portraying Ophelia herself.

Prior to the injury, Green made her excitement about joining the franchise very clear: "I’m thrilled to join the woefully twisted world of Wednesday as Aunt Ophelia," Green said when her casting was announced. "This show is such a deliciously dark and witty world, I can't wait to bring my own touch of cuckoo-ness to the Addams family."

Added series creators, showrunners, and writers Al Gough and Miles Millar, "Eva Green has always brought an exhilarating, singular presence to the screen – elegant, haunting, and beautifully unpredictable. Those qualities make her the perfect choice for Aunt Ophelia. We're excited to see how she transforms the role and expands Wednesday's world."

The upcoming season of the hit Netflix series will mark Green's latest collaboration with director Tim Burton, following her roles in Dark Shadows, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and Dumbo. The French actress is otherwise best known for playing Bond girl Vesper Lynd to Daniel Craig's 007 in Casino Royale. She also starred as the heroine of Penny Dreadful, Vanessa Ives.
Along with Green, newcomers to Wednesday's star-studded third season include Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.
